I received my Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Florida in the spring of 2023, where I was advised by Somnath Datta and Samuel S. Wu. I was a NIH/NIAAA T32 Predoctoral Fellow at the Southern HIV and Alcohol Research Consortium, Emerging Pathogens Institute (PI: Robert L. Cook) from January 2021 to May 2023.
Before that, I was a biostatistician at the Biostatistics Unit, Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research at Northwell Health. I split my time there and Lenox Hill Hospital in the Upper East Side. I conferred my M.S. in Biostatistics from Columbia University and B.A. in Mathematics from Boston University.
I am originally from Seoul, South Korea, but I have also lived in Irvine, Boston, New York (pre-pandemic), Gainesville, Bloomington, and now back in New York.
